Taisuke and Ian enjoy views of the scenic gorge below.

The Kenai Penisula is home to the northernmost temperate rain forest in the world. We enjoyed hiking through the dense, lime green foliage after experiencing the wide open landscapes of Denali.

Our second moose sighting!

During our hike of the Winner Creek Trail we took a hand tram across the river for a bird’s eye view.

We took time before our rafting adventure to explore the beaches along Turnagain Arm and play some frisbee.

We struck it big.

Our guide Hannalore shows us the ropes and helps the group to install a sleucing device in the river bed to speed up the sifting process.

We hit the beach to scout for belugas and play some frisbee before catching the train to Spencer Glacier.

From the top of the Alyeska North Face Trail we had views of five different glaciers that surrounded the valley.
